Beginning December 8, 2025, weekday service on the F and M lines will swap between Manhattan and Queens from approx. 6:00 AM–9:30 PM.
The M train will now stop at Roosevelt Island, 21 St–Queensbridge, Lexington Av/63 St, and 57 St.
The F train will no longer serve Roosevelt Island during these hours.
Evenings & Weekends: No change. The F train will continue to stop at Roosevelt Island at night and on weekends; the M will run its usual weekend and late-night routes.

The Park is a 15 min walk south of the subway station.
Alternatively, take Roosevelt Island’s free Red Bus to Southpoint Park and walk 3 min south.
Take the Ferry from E 34th St to the Roosevelt Island stop and walk 15 min south to the FDR Four Freedoms State Park.
Alternatively, take Roosevelt Island’s free Red Bus to Southpoint Park and walk 3 min south.
Note there is no parking at FDR Four Freedoms State Park and there is limited parking on Roosevelt Island.
