I Love My Park Day at Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park

Four Freedoms Park Conservancy is hosting a day of volunteering and fun on May 6, 2023 in celebration of I Love My Park Day.

When: May 6th, 2023, 10:00 am – 1:00 pm

Where: Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park

What: Volunteers will assemble colorful Adirondack chairs on the Great Lawn that will welcome residents and visitors alike to enjoy the outdoors and find respite in our iconic urban oasis. Presented in partnership with Parks & Trails NY and the Woolrich Outdoor Foundation. 

Join us – and thousands of others across the state – in celebrating New York’s parks and public lands by cleaning up open spaces, restoring trails and habitats, and completing beautification and improvement projects during I Love My Park Day, the largest single-day volunteer in New York State.

New York’s public lands experienced a record-breaking number of visits during the last year, and we know many New Yorkers are eager to give back to the outdoor spaces that have been a lifeline for them. Thank you for helping to make this possible!
