Now in its 19th year, City of Water Day is a region-wide day, organized by Waterfront Alliance and New York–New Jersey Harbor & Estuary Program (HEP), to champion a climate-resilient New York and New Jersey harbor by inviting communities to experience their local waterways through free, family friendly activities that support joy, belonging, education, access, and stewardship.

FDR Four Freedoms State Park will be hosting the following activities and performances:

  • iDig2Learn marine touch table
  • Imagination Playground
  • Whale origami craft
  • Pop-up Library
  • Lawn games
